Orientation Program
A compulsory Orientation program for all study abroad and exchange students is held on Tuesday, 21st February 2012. The program is designed to provide students with all the information they require to settle into a new country and to confidently approach a new study environment. Topics covered include:
- Enrolment at UOW
- Academic differences
- Services and facilities available on campus
- Rules and responsibilities relating to overseas student health cover
- Personal safety
- General information about living in Australia, local customs and attitudes
- Campus Tours
- Student ID cards
Autumn 2012 Study Abroad & Exchange Student Orientation Program
Autumn Session 2012
Date: Tuesday, 21st February 2012
Location: Building 40 (Hope Theatre)
Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm
- 9:00am to 12:00pm
Study Abroad and Exchange Information Sessions - 12.00pm to 4:00pm
Lunch, UOW orientation fair, Student ID photos, campus tours, and late enrolment.
Students Should enrol prior to arrival at UOW, but there will be the opportunity to enrol late on your orientation day if required.
