Orientation Program

A compulsory Orientation program for all study abroad and exchange students is held during O-Week. The program is designed to provide students with all the information they require to settle into a new country and to confidently approach a new study environment. Topics covered include:

• Enrolment at UOW
• Academic differences
• Services and facilities available on campus
• Rules and responsibilities relating to overseas student health cover
• Personal safety
• General information about living in Australia, local customs and attitudes
• Surf Safety
• Campus Tours
• Student ID cards
