9:15am: Registration, free giveways, meet the Einsteins of Science - your Science O-Hosts! Meeting point, Building 20 Foyer.
10:00am: Meet the Dean of Science, find out what is expected of you and hear about what services are available to support you at UOW.
11:00am: BE CHALLENGED! Surprise...
12:00noon: O-Week Festival!

Kick start your transition to university life with the Science Faculty Welcome on Orientation Day. You will meet our O-Hosts, who are in the know! Meet in the Foyer of Buolding 20 for registration and giveways! The Dean of Science, Professor Will Price, will formally welcome new students to UOW before introducing key academic and support staff. Following the Faculty Welcome will be The Challenge. You will have the opportunity to interact with other students and s Science O-Host by trying to complete the Orientation Challenge before the O-Week Festival starts at the Duck Pond Lawn at 12:00noon.

The O-Week Festival on the Duck Pond Lawn, daily from 12:00noon to 3:00pm. FREE BBQ LUNCH for all new students (don't forget to bring your lunch voucher you received at registration). The O-Week Festival is the best way to kick off UOW Student Life: meet UOW Clubs and Societies (there is over 90 of them), probe the UOW social scene (before classes start) and sign up to some one-off awesome student discounts (we all love a freebie).

O-Week 2013 is going to bigger and better than ever! Not only will UOW welcome new students at the festival each day... there are loads of other events on too! Click on the icons below for more info.
