Congratulations and welcome to the Faculty of Informatics. Your essential orientation session will include a welcome from the Dean, valuable information you want and need to know, hands-on activities in your chosen discipline plus some fun along the way. Don’t miss it!

O-Week Festival: Duck Pond Lawn

9:30am to 10.00am Registration, Meet your O-Hosts and find out what discipline you belong to!

10.00am to 10:30am Faculty Welcome from the Dean – Uni Hall, Building 11

10:30am to 11:50am Discipline Specific Information Sessions - All your questions will be answered. If not, ask us!

12:00pm to 1:00pm BBQ lunch – meet connect with other new students and faculty staff at the BBQ lunch! If wet weather, Building 3 carpark.

1:00pm to 3:00pm The O-Week Festival on the Duck Pond Lawn is the best way to kick off UOW Student Life: meet UOW Clubs and Societies (there is over 90 of them), explore the UOW social scene (before classes start) and sign up to some one-off awesome student discounts (we all love a freebie).
