University of Wollongong

How do I view my timetable?

You can view the University of Wollongong subject timetable at www.uow.edu.au/student/timetables/ (then click on the relevant campus eg Wollongong).

Subjects are displayed under the respective Faculty responsible for the delivery of that subject. By clicking on the relevant Faculty a list of member academic units or, in some cases, subjects will be displayed. Simply scroll down the page until you locate the subjects that you wish to view.

You can also access a description of the subject directly from the timetable page by clicking on the subject number. Once clicked you will be taken directly to the subject database where you can view a summary of the subject outline, contact hours, pre and co-requisites, delivery methods, restrictions on enrolment and the names of the relevant academic staff (ie lecturer or subject coordinator).

Contact hours may appear differently from Faculty to Faculty (for example, some will show 5 hours per week, others as 39 hours per session). However the majority of subjects are listed in a L/P/T format (for example 3L, 3P, 1T which translates to 3 hours of lectures, 3 hours of practicals and 1 hour of tutorials per week).

You can find a guide to building your timetable on the ‘First Year at UOW’ website, go to http://www.uow.edu.au/student/services/fye/important/index.html#5 for more information.
